My recent and first trip to the south of Germany was great.  I can now say I have experienced the famous German Christmas market.  It was cold, bright and it was busy.  I got to taste the strongest mulled wine ever and ate a bratwurst or two!  The market at night felt cosy with pockets of people just hanging around drinking and eating and best of all shopping.

I also got to visit a place called Tubingen which has amazing architecture and was hosting an international chocolate festival at the time.  I of course had to have a hot chocolate drink to warm me up which I must say was the best I have ever tasted.  The lights on the buildings added to the effect to all the white tents stood in the square hosting the event but the buildings themselves were beautiful.  They don’t even let off fireworks as the noise vibrations could damage the properties.

Overall the weather was cold but it was fresh with blue skies each day and the views are stunning, forests, hills and old buildings.  I am sure to return x
